💼 Board of Trustees Governance
The NBFRD Pension Board consists of five citizens. Two members are appointed by the NBFRD Board of Fire Commissioners, two are full-time NBFRD firefighters, and the fifth member is chosen by the Pension Board Trustees. Trustees serve on the board for two years.
Meetings are held quarterly per Florida State requirements at Station 49 (1413 Utility Drive, Navarre, FL 32566). The meetings are open to the public and citizens are always welcome to attend.

⚖️ Statutory Pension Disclosures (F.S. § 189.0695 & Chapter 175)
In accordance with Florida Statutes § 189.0695 and Chapter 175 (Municipal Firefighters’ Pension Trust Funds), the District provides public access to all actuarial valuations, expected investment returns, plan administrative rules, and state compliance reports:

- State Oversight: Florida Department of Management Services, Division of Retirement (Local Retirement Plans).
- Actuarial Assumption Disclosures: Actuarial reports, valuation summaries, and investment return assumptions are published annually below upon formal board approval.
